    From downtown Paterson, walk to the nearest bus stop on Broadway. Take the NJ Transit bus # 83 towards 'New York' and disembark at the 'Coney Island' stop. From there, transfer to the B, D, F, or N subway lines at the Coney Island-Stillwell Ave station. Take the subway towards 'Manhattan' and get off at 'Coney Island' station. Exit the station and walk towards Surf Ave. The New York Aquarium is located at 602 Surf Ave, just a short 5-minute walk from the subway exit.

  • Public Transit - Train and Subway

    Head to the Paterson train station and take a NJ Transit train on the North Jersey Coast Line towards 'Long Branch'. Get off at the 'Hoboken' station. From Hoboken, transfer to the PATH train towards 'World Trade Center' and get off at '33rd St'. Then, transfer to the B, D, F, or N subway lines at the '34th Street-Herald Square' station. Ride towards 'Coney Island' and get off at the 'Coney Island' station.
