From Paterson, walk to the Paterson Bus Terminal located at 125 Broadway, Paterson, NJ 07505. Take the NJ Transit bus #190 or #753 towards New York City. The bus will take you to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan. Once you arrive at the Port Authority, exit the terminal and walk to 8th Avenue.

From the Port Authority, walk to the nearby Times Square-42nd Street station. Take the 1, 2, or 3 subway train downtown to Chambers Street. At Chambers Street, transfer to the A or C line and continue to West 4th Street. Here, transfer to the E line and take it to the World Trade Center station.

Once you exit the World Trade Center station, head east on Church Street toward Cortlandt Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with South Street. Turn right onto South Street and walk for about 10 minutes until you arrive at Pier 36 NYC, located at 299 South St, New York, NY 10002.
