Getting There

  • PATH TRAIN

    From Jersey City, head to the PATH train station at Exchange Place. Purchase a ticket to the 'World Trade Center' station. Board the train heading towards 'World Trade Center'. The journey takes about 10 minutes. Once you arrive at the World Trade Center, exit the station and walk towards the Oculus. From the Oculus, head to the subway station and take the E train towards 'Jay St - MetroTech'. Get off at the 'Canal St' station. Exit the station and walk east towards the Lower East Side, which is approximately a 15-minute walk.

  • FERRY

    From Jersey City, go to the Liberty State Park ferry terminal. Purchase a ticket for the NYC Waterway ferry to 'Pier 11' in Manhattan. The ferry ride takes about 15 minutes. Upon arrival at Pier 11, exit the ferry terminal and walk towards Wall Street. From there, take the subway from 'Wall Street' station, using the J or Z trains towards 'Chambers St'. Get off at the 'Bowery' station and walk north to reach the Lower East Side, which is about a 10-minute walk.

  • BUS

    Find the NJ Transit bus stop on Newark Ave in Jersey City. Board the bus that goes to Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. After arriving at Port Authority, head to the subway station and take the A or C train downtown towards 'Canal St'. Get off at 'Canal St' and walk east towards the Lower East Side, which is a 15-minute walk.
