    From Paterson, walk to the nearest NJ Transit bus stop. Take the NJ Transit bus #190 towards New York Port Authority. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Disembark at the stop near 42nd Street and 8th Avenue in Manhattan. From there, walk east on 42nd Street for about 5 blocks until you reach Broadway. Turn left on Broadway and continue walking for about 5 more blocks until you reach 828 Broadway, Strand Book Store on your right.

    Head to the Paterson Train Station and board a NJ Transit train on the North Jersey Coast Line towards New York Penn Station. The train ride will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Penn Station, exit the station and walk to 34th Street. From there, take the subway (1, 2, or 3 train) downtown to 42nd Street. After exiting, walk east on 42nd Street for about 5 blocks to Broadway, then turn left and walk for an additional 5 blocks to reach 828 Broadway, Strand Book Store.
