PATH TRAIN
To get to Irving Plaza, start by heading to the nearest PATH train station in Jersey City, which is either the Journal Square or Exchange Place station. If you're at Journal Square, board a PATH train heading towards World Trade Center. If you're at Exchange Place, take the train towards 33rd Street. Once you arrive at the World Trade Center station, transfer to the E subway line towards Jamaica Center. Get off at the 34th Street-Penn Station. From there, exit the station and walk to the nearby 33rd Street subway station (N, Q, R, W lines are available). Take the N, Q, R, or W train heading uptown and get off at the 28th Street station. From there, walk east on 28th Street until you reach Irving Place, then turn right and walk to 17 Irving Pl, New York, NY 10003.

BUS
If you prefer taking a bus, head to the nearest bus stop in Jersey City that services New York City. You can take the NJ Transit bus number 119 or 120 from the Journal Square Bus Terminal directly to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan. Once you arrive at the Port Authority, exit and walk to the nearby 8th Avenue subway station. Take the A, C, or E line uptown to 34th Street-Penn Station. After that, follow the same directions as above to get to Irving Plaza by taking the N, Q, R, or W train from 34th Street to 28th Street station.

FERRY
Another scenic option is to take the NY Waterway ferry from the Paulus Hook Ferry Terminal or the Exchange Place Ferry Terminal in Jersey City. Board a ferry heading towards the World Financial Center or Midtown. Once you arrive, make your way to the nearest subway station. For example, if you arrive at the World Financial Center, walk to the 1 subway line at Battery Park City. Take the train uptown to 34th Street-Penn Station, and then follow the subway directions to reach Irving Plaza.
