    From Paterson, head to the nearest NJ Transit bus stop. Take the NJ Transit bus route 190 towards New York Port Authority Bus Terminal. Stay on the bus for approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Port Authority, exit the bus and head to the 8th Avenue exit. From there, walk towards 42nd Street and take the subway (A, C, or E train) at the 42nd Street subway station going towards downtown Manhattan. Get off at the 59th Street – Columbus Circle station. When you emerge from the subway, walk towards the entrance of Central Park. Strawberry Fields is located just inside the park, near West 72nd Street.

    From Paterson, walk to the Paterson Train Station and board a NJ Transit train heading to Hoboken. Once you arrive at Hoboken, transfer to the PATH train towards 33rd Street. Get off at the 33rd Street station, then walk to the 6th Avenue subway station and take the F train towards Brooklyn. Get off at the 59th Street – Columbus Circle station. Once you exit the subway, head towards Central Park, and Strawberry Fields is located just inside the park at West 72nd Street.

  • Walking

    Assuming you are already near the Paterson Museum, head west towards Market Street. From Market Street, walk to the NJ Transit bus terminal and take the bus route 190 towards New York Port Authority. Once you arrive in New York, head towards Central Park by walking along 8th Avenue. Continue walking north until you reach 59th Street, then enter Central Park. Strawberry Fields will be on your left as you walk towards West 72nd Street.
