From Hoboken Terminal, take the PATH train towards World Trade Center. Ride the train for about 15 minutes and get off at the 14th Street Station. Once you exit the station, walk 3 blocks east on 14th Street until you reach Union Square Park.

Catch the NJ Transit Bus #126 or #87 from any bus stop in Hoboken that serves these lines. The bus will take you to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan. From there, transfer to the subway and take the L train from 42nd Street to 14th Street. Once you exit the station, walk 3 blocks east on 14th Street to reach Union Square Park.
