To get to Christopher St in New York City from Paterson, start by walking to the nearest NJ Transit train station, which is Paterson Station. From there, purchase a ticket to New York Penn Station. The train ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at New York Penn Station, exit the station and head to the 34th Street exit. From here, you can take the subway. Walk to the 34th Street-Herald Square subway station and take the N, Q, R, or W train downtown towards Brooklyn. Get off at the 8th Street-NYU station. After exiting the subway, walk south on Greene Street until you reach Christopher Street. The street will be on your right.

You can also take a NJ Transit bus from Paterson to New York. Head to the nearest bus stop for NJ Transit buses. Look for the 164 bus, which will take you directly to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York City. The journey takes around 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Port Authority, walk to 42nd Street and take the subway (A, C, E trains) downtown to West 4th Street-Washington Square. Once you exit the subway, walk to Christopher St by heading east on Washington Square South and then south on 6th Ave until you hit Christopher Street.
