Walking
From the Paterson Museum located at 2 Market St, head east on Market St toward Broadway. Continue straight until you reach Broadway, then turn left. Walk north on Broadway until you reach the intersection with Main St. Turn right onto Main St and continue until you reach the Paterson Train Station. From the train station, take NJ Transit train or bus to New York City. Once you arrive at the Port Authority Bus Terminal or Penn Station in NYC, transfer to the subway or take a bus to Central Park.

From downtown Paterson, locate the NJ Transit bus stop on Broadway near the City Hall. Take NJ Transit Bus 193 towards New York. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Port Authority Bus Terminal. From there, you can either walk or take the subway to Central Park. If you choose to walk, head north on 8th Avenue to W 42nd St, then turn left and walk straight to Central Park.

Make your way to the Paterson Train Station located at 1 Market St. Take a train on the NJ Transit line towards New York Penn Station. The journey takes around 30 minutes.
