Getting There

• PATH Train

  From Hoboken Terminal, take the PATH train towards World Trade Center. The ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 9th Street station in Manhattan. Once you exit the station, walk east on 9th Street until you reach Avenue C. Turn left onto Avenue C and walk north until you reach Houston Street. Turn right onto Houston Street and proceed to Orchard Street. Turn left onto Orchard Street, and the Tenement Museum will be on your left at 103 Orchard St.

• Ferry

  Head to the Hoboken Terminal and take the NY Waterway ferry to Pier 11/Wall Street in Manhattan. The ferry ride offers great views and takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Pier 11, walk north to Wall Street and turn left. Continue walking until you reach Broadway, then turn right. Walk to the intersection with Houston Street and turn left. Continue on Houston Street until you reach Orchard Street. Turn left onto Orchard Street, and the Tenement Museum will be on your left at 103 Orchard St.

• Bus

  From Hoboken, you can catch NJ Transit Bus 126 at the bus stop near 1st Street and Washington Street. Take the bus towards the Port Authority Bus Terminal. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Port Authority, exit the terminal and walk east on 42nd Street until you reach 8th Avenue. Turn left and walk north to 34th Street, then turn right. Continue walking until you reach Houston Street and turn left. Walk to Orchard Street and turn left; the Tenement Museum will be on your left at 103 Orchard St.
