Walking
From the center of Red Bank, head east on Broad Street towards the train station. Continue straight for about 0.3 miles until you reach the Red Bank Train Station. Once at the station, take the NJ Transit North Jersey Coast Line train towards New York Penn Station. After approximately 40 minutes, you will arrive at New York Penn Station. From there, exit the station and take the subway by following the signs to the 1, 2, or 3 trains. Board the 2 train towards Brooklyn. Ride for 7 stops and get off at the Canal Street Station. Transfer to the N or Q train towards Astoria-Ditmars Blvd and ride for 2 stops to the Bowery Station. Exit the station and walk east on Delancey St for about 0.4 miles until you reach Orchard St. Turn right on Orchard St, and the Tenement Museum will be on your left at 103 Orchard St.

Bus
From the center of Red Bank, walk to the nearest bus stop on Broad Street and board the NJ Transit bus 833 heading towards New York City. This bus will take you directly to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York City. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once at the Port Authority, exit the terminal and walk to 8th Avenue. From there, take the A, C, or E subway lines at the 42nd Street & Port Authority Bus Terminal station to Canal Street. Transfer at Canal Street to the J or Z train towards Brooklyn and ride for 1 stop to the Bowery Station. After exiting, walk east on Delancey St for about 0.4 miles, then turn right on Orchard St. The Tenement Museum will be on your left at 103 Orchard St.
