From downtown Red Bank, start at the Red Bank Train Station located at 176 Monmouth St, Red Bank, NJ 07701. Exit the station and head southwest on Monmouth St toward W Front St. Continue straight for about 0.2 miles until you reach the intersection with Maple Ave. Turn left onto Maple Ave and walk for approximately 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with W Front St. Here, you will find the NJ Transit bus stop for the 817 bus towards National Park. Board the bus and stay on it for about 30 minutes, enjoying the scenic ride through the area. After the bus ride, disembark at the stop closest to 100 Hessian Ave, National Park, NJ 08063. From the bus stop, walk east for about 0.2 miles until you reach the entrance of Red Bank Battlefield Park.

Start at the Red Bank Riverfront Park. Head north on the bike path along the Navesink River. Continue until you reach the intersection with W Front St. Turn left onto W Front St and continue for about 0.5 miles. At the intersection with Maple Ave, turn right and bike for about 0.3 miles. You will then reach the NJ Transit bus stop for the 817 bus towards National Park. You can either board the bus with your bike or continue biking along Maple Ave, which will take you directly to National Park. Once you reach 100 Hessian Ave, find the park entrance on your left.
