Car
From Great Valley, start by getting onto PA-29 N. Continue on PA-29 N until you reach the intersection with US-202 N. Merge onto US-202 N and follow it for about 6 miles. Take the exit for I-76 E toward Philadelphia. After about 9 miles on I-76 E, take exit 347B for PA-291 E toward Airport/Essington. Merge onto PA-291 E and continue for approximately 1.5 miles. Take the exit toward Lindbergh Blvd, and then turn right onto Lindbergh Blvd. Continue on Lindbergh Blvd for about 1 mile. The John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge will be on your right at 8601 Lindbergh Blvd, Philadelphia, PA 19153.

Public Transportation
To reach John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge using public transportation from Great Valley, take the SEPTA train from the Paoli station on the Paoli/Thorndale Line to the 69th Street Terminal. From the terminal, transfer to the Route 108 bus, which will take you to the Philadelphia International Airport area. Get off at the stop closest to Lindbergh Blvd. Walk along Lindbergh Blvd for about 10 minutes to reach the refuge at 8601 Lindbergh Blvd, Philadelphia, PA 19153. Be sure to check the SEPTA schedule for train and bus timings to plan your trip accordingly.
