    Start at the Trenton Train Station. Exit the station and head east on S Clinton Ave towards W State St. Continue to walk on W State St for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with N Broad St. Turn left onto N Broad St and continue for another 0.5 miles. You will reach the intersection with W Lafayette St. Turn right onto W Lafayette St and walk for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with S Broad St. Cross S Broad St and continue straight onto W State St. After about 0.4 miles, you will reach the intersection with US-1 N. Use the crosswalk to safely cross to the other side and continue straight on the path leading into Princeton. Follow the signs to Princeton Battlefield State Park, which is approximately 2 miles ahead on Mercer Rd.

    From Trenton Transit Center, take NJ Transit Bus 601 towards Princeton. The bus will take you directly to Princeton. After about 30 minutes, disembark at the stop near Mercer Rd. Walk north on Mercer Rd for about 0.5 miles to reach Princeton Battlefield State Park, located at 500 Mercer Rd.

    If you have access to a bike, start at the Trenton Train Station and head east on S Clinton Ave. Continue straight to W State St and then turn left onto N Broad St. Follow N Broad St for about 1 mile until you reach W Lafayette St. Turn right and continue straight. You will eventually reach US-1 N. Follow the bike paths along the road which will lead you to Princeton. After approximately 2 miles, look for signs indicating Princeton Battlefield State Park located on Mercer Rd.
