Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in Nob Hill, start by heading west on Central Avenue. Walk two blocks until you reach the intersection with University Boulevard. Turn left onto University Boulevard. Continue walking south for about half a mile. After crossing the intersection with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, you will see the entrance to the UNM campus on your right. Proceed into the campus, and keep walking straight until you reach the Duck Pond, which will be on your left.

  • Bicycle

    For those who prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from a local rental shop in Nob Hill. Start by cycling west on Central Avenue for two blocks. Turn left onto University Boulevard and continue south for approximately half a mile. After crossing Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, enter the UNM campus on your right. The Duck Pond will be on your left after a short ride through the campus.

    You can take the ABQ RIDE bus from Nob Hill to reach the UNM Duck Pond. Board the Route 66 bus at a nearby stop along Central Avenue heading towards the University. After a 10-15 minute ride, disembark at the University stop. From there, walk south across Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue into the UNM campus. The Duck Pond will be a short walk straight ahead on your left.
