Walking
Start at the center of Bernalillo, near the intersection of NM-528 and NM-550. Head south on NM-528 (also known as Camino del Pueblo) for about 0.5 miles. You will pass several shops and restaurants along the way. Continue walking until you reach the traffic light at the intersection with the access road for Coronado Campground. Turn right onto the access road and continue straight for about 0.3 miles until you reach the campground entrance located at 106 Monument. The campground is well-marked and easily accessible on foot.
Biking
If you are biking, start from the center of Bernalillo at the intersection of NM-528 and NM-550. Head south on NM-528 (Camino del Pueblo) for approximately 0.5 miles. After passing the traffic light at the intersection with the access road for Coronado Campground, turn right onto the access road. Continue biking straight for about 0.3 miles. The campground entrance will be on your right at 106 Monument. Make sure to follow bike lanes where available for safety.
Public Transit
To reach Coronado Campground via public transportation, start from the Bernalillo Transit Center. Take the ABQ Ride bus route 140 towards Albuquerque. Ride for about 10 minutes until you reach the stop at the intersection of NM-528 and the access road for Coronado Campground. From there, walk approximately 0.3 miles south on the access road to the campground entrance at 106 Monument. Be sure to check the bus schedule for specific times and routes.
