Start at the center of Bernalillo, near the intersection of NM-528 and NM-550. Head south on NM-528 (also known as Camino del Pueblo) for about 0.5 miles. You will pass several shops and restaurants along the way. Continue walking until you reach the traffic light at the intersection with the access road for Coronado Campground. Turn right onto the access road and continue straight for about 0.3 miles until you reach the campground entrance located at 106 Monument. The campground is well-marked and easily accessible on foot.
