Walking
Start from the Bernalillo Town Plaza located at 829 Camino del Pueblo. Head north on Camino del Pueblo for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with NM-550. At the intersection, cross NM-550 carefully. Continue walking straight on the north side of the road, and watch for pedestrian paths. After about 1 mile, you will reach the junction of NM-528. Follow the pedestrian path along NM-528 heading northwest towards Rio Rancho.

Continue along NM-528 for about 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Willow Creek Rd NE. Turn left onto Willow Creek Rd NE. Follow this road for about 0.3 miles until you see the entrance to the Willow Creek Trailhead and Open Space on your right. The trailhead will be marked, and you can access the open space from here.

From the Bernalillo Town Plaza, board the NM Park & Ride bus #505 towards Albuquerque. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the stop near NM-528 and Willow Creek Rd NE.
