Walking
If you're starting from the Carlsbad Museum and Art Center, head east on W Fox St. Continue walking straight until you reach S Canal St, then turn left. Follow S Canal St until you reach E Riverside Dr. Turn right onto E Riverside Dr, and Friendship Park will be on your left at the intersection with S 9th St. It's about a 20-minute walk.

From the Carlsbad Public Library, head southeast on the bike path that runs alongside the Pecos River. Follow the path until you reach the intersection with E Riverside Dr. Turn right onto E Riverside Dr and continue straight. Friendship Park will be on your right just past the intersection with S 9th St, approximately a 15-minute bike ride.

Public Transit
If you're near the Carlsbad Community Center, you can catch the local bus. Board the bus heading towards the downtown area. Get off at the stop on E Greene St near S 8th St. From there, walk east along E Greene St until you reach E Riverside Dr. Turn right and walk until you see Friendship Park on your left. This trip should take about 30 minutes in total.
