From the center of Carlsbad, head south towards W Fox St. Turn right onto W Fox St and continue until you reach S Canal St. Turn left onto S Canal St and continue walking until you reach the intersection with W Main St. Turn right onto W Main St and continue walking straight. After several blocks, you will reach the Carlsbad Museum and Art Center. From there, you can take the local bus or a taxi to reach the nearest bus station. Take the bus to Hobbs then transfer to a bus heading to Oceanside, CA. Once you arrive in Oceanside, follow the local signs or maps to The Strand N beach.

Start at the Carlsbad Amtrak Station located at 302 S Halagueno St. Take the Amtrak train north towards Los Angeles. Get off at the Oceanside station.
