If you are starting from the Carlsbad Museum and Art Center, head southwest on W Fox St toward S Canyon St. Continue straight onto S Canyon St, then take a left onto W Main St. Walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with S 8th St. Turn right onto S 8th St and walk for about 0.3 miles. Turn left onto E Orchard St and continue for another 0.4 miles. You will see The Cascades at 400-16 Cascades Ave on your left.

If you are at the Carlsbad Public Library, walk to the nearest bus stop at the intersection of N 1st St and W Fox St. Board the bus that goes towards the Carlsbad Airport (Bus Route 1). After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the stop near E Orchard St. From there, walk east along E Orchard St for about 0.2 miles until you reach The Cascades at 400-16 Cascades Ave.
