Getting There

  • Car

    From any point within Carson National Forest, head south towards Taos. You will take NM-64 E, which will lead you directly into Taos. Continue on NM-64 until you reach the intersection with NM-522. Turn left onto NM-522 N. Follow NM-522 for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Ledoux St. Turn right onto Ledoux St. The Taos Historic Museums will be on your left at 222 Ledoux St, Taos, NM 87571. Parking is available nearby.

    If you are using public transportation, you will need to take the RTD Taos Express Bus from various points in the Carson National Forest area. Check the RTD website for the nearest stop and schedule. The bus will take you to the Taos Plaza. From the Taos Plaza, it's a short walk to Ledoux St; head west on Paseo del Pueblo Sur, then turn left on Ledoux St. Continue walking until you reach 222 Ledoux St, where the Taos Historic Museums are located.
