From any point in Carson National Forest, head southeast on NM-518 S. Continue on NM-518 S for about 17 miles until you reach the junction with NM-68. Turn right onto NM-68 S and drive for approximately 10 miles. As you approach Taos, take the exit toward Taos Plaza. Follow the signs to downtown Taos, and then turn left onto Paseo Del Pueblo Norte. Kit Carson Park will be on your right at 211 Paseo Del Pueblo Norte.

If you are using public transportation, you can take the NM Rail Runner Express from various locations in New Mexico to the nearest station in Santa Fe. From Santa Fe, transfer to a local bus service that goes to Taos. Once you arrive in Taos, you can either take a taxi or walk approximately 1 mile to Kit Carson Park located at 211 Paseo Del Pueblo Norte.
