If you're driving from anywhere in Eastern New Mexico, you will likely take US-285 N or I-40 W. From Roswell, for instance, take US-285 N for approximately 200 miles. As you approach Santa Fe, take exit 282 toward St. Francis Dr. Continue on St. Francis Dr for about 2 miles, then turn right onto W De Vargas St. Finally, turn left onto S Capitol St, and you will find the New Mexico State Capitol at 411 S Capitol St, Santa Fe, NM 87501. There is usually street parking available nearby, but be aware of any parking fees that may apply.
