    From the main area of the Manzano Mountains, head northwest on NM-337 towards the town of Tijeras. Continue on NM-337 until you reach the intersection with NM-66. Turn left onto NM-66 and follow it for about 5 miles. Turn right onto NM-14 N and continue for approximately 15 miles. As you approach Albuquerque, NM-14 will merge with I-40. Stay on I-40 for a short distance until you see the exit for I-25 N towards Santa Fe. Merge onto I-25 N and take exit 226A toward NM-423 E (also known as Montgomery Blvd). Follow Montgomery Blvd until you see the signs for the Sandia Mountains and then take NM-550 towards the Double Eagle area. Finally, follow the signs to reach Black Volcano, located at approximately latitude 35.1325889 and longitude -106.7725125.
