If you are driving from Albuquerque, take I-25 N from downtown Albuquerque. After about 10 miles, take exit 233 for I-40 W toward Gallup. Continue on I-40 W for about 7 miles, then take exit 157A to merge onto NM-528 N toward Bernalillo. Drive for approximately 10 miles, then turn right onto Jill Patricia St NW. Follow Jill Patricia St NW until you reach the Piedras Marcadas Canyon parking area, which will be on your left.

To reach Piedras Marcadas Canyon via public transport, start by taking the Albuquerque Rapid Transit (ART) bus line 66 from the city center. Get off at the stop at NM-528 & Jill Patricia St NW. From there, it is about a 10-minute walk to the canyon entrance. Note that the ART bus fare is $1.00 for a one-way trip, and make sure to check the current bus schedule for operating hours.

From the intersection of NM-528 and Jill Patricia St NW, head north on Jill Patricia St NW. The canyon entrance is approximately a half-mile walk or bike ride from the intersection.
