    From the center of Ruidoso, head east on Sudderth Drive. Continue straight for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with Mechem Drive. Turn right onto Mechem Drive and follow it for about 0.5 miles. You will pass by several shops and restaurants. After that, take a left onto NM-48 N. Continue on NM-48 N for about 12 miles. The road will take you through beautiful forest scenery. Watch for signs indicating Cloudcroft. Once you reach Cloudcroft, turn left onto Lost Lodge Road. The Lincoln National Forest, Sacramento District Office will be on your right side at 4 Lost Lodge Rd.

    Start at the Ruidoso Village Hall located at 313 Cree Meadows Drive. Head south on Cree Meadows Drive until it intersects with Sudderth Drive. Turn right onto Sudderth Drive and continue for about 1 mile. At the intersection with Mechem Drive, turn right. Follow Mechem Drive for approximately 0.5 miles. Continue onto NM-48 N for about 12 miles. You will enjoy a scenic ride through the forest. Look for the signs to Cloudcroft. Once in Cloudcroft, take a left onto Lost Lodge Road. The Lincoln National Forest, Sacramento District Office will be on your right.
