Car
If you are driving, start from the Sandia Peak Tramway parking lot. Head southeast on Tramway Blvd NE for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with the I-40. Merge onto I-40 E and continue for approximately 4 miles. Take exit 165 for Tramway Blvd N, and turn left onto Tramway Blvd N. Continue for about 3 miles. The Tramway Trail N. Trailhead will be on your right. Look for the parking area just off the road.

Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, you can take ABQ Ride bus #2 (Tramway) from downtown Albuquerque toward the Sandia Peak Tramway. Get off at the Tramway Blvd & I-40 stop. From there, you will need to walk approximately 0.5 miles north along Tramway Blvd NE. After about 10-15 minutes of walking, you will reach the Tramway Trail N. Trailhead on your left. Be sure to check the bus schedule for the most current timings.

Walking from Sandia Peak Tramway
If you are already at the Sandia Peak Tramway, you can walk to the Tramway Trail N. Trailhead. Exit the tram station and head south toward Tramway Blvd NE. Cross the road and follow the path that leads you to Tramway Blvd. Walk north along Tramway Blvd for about 1 mile, and you will reach the trailhead. This walk will take approximately 20-30 minutes.
