    From Santa Fe National Forest, take NM-475 South (also known as the 'High Road to Taos') and follow it until you reach the junction with US-84. Merge onto US-84 South and continue for about 20 miles. Take the exit toward I-25 S/Albuquerque and merge onto I-25 S. Continue on I-25 for approximately 60 miles. Take exit 226 toward Candelaria Rd NW and turn left onto Candelaria Rd NW. The Rio Grande Nature Center State Park will be on your right at 2901 Candelaria Rd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87107.

    If you are using public transportation, start by taking the New Mexico Rail Runner Express from the Santa Fe Depot to the Albuquerque Station.
