Getting There

  • Car

    From the center of Taos Ski Valley, head east on NM-150 N towards the Taos Ski Valley Resort. Continue on NM-150 N for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach the turnoff for USFS Forest Road 58. Turn left onto USFS Forest Rd 58. Follow this road for about 2 miles, and you'll arrive at the Middle Fork Lake Trailhead, which will be on your right. There is no fee for parking at the trailhead.

    If you are using public transportation, take the Taos Ski Valley Shuttle from the Taos area to the Taos Ski Valley resort.
