Car
From the center of Turquoise Trail, head south on NM-14 towards the village of Cerrillos. After approximately 5 miles, take a right onto County Road 59. Continue on County Road 59 for about 2 miles until you see the entrance to Cerrillos Hills State Park on your right. The park is open from 7 AM to 9 PM, so plan your visit accordingly.

Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, take the NM Rail Runner from Santa Fe towards Belen. Disembark at the Cerrillos station. From there, you can either walk to the park (approximately 1.5 miles) or arrange for a rideshare service. If walking, head southeast on NM-14, then take a left onto County Road 59, following the same directions as if you were driving. Be sure to check the NM Rail Runner schedule for times, as they may vary.

If you are staying in the Cerrillos area or nearby, you can walk to Cerrillos Hills State Park. Start by heading south on County Road 59. The park entrance will be approximately 2 miles down the road. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the walk can be quite scenic but may take around 40 minutes.
