Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards Lake Placid, NY. From the center of Lake Placid, take Main Street (NY-86) heading southwest. Continue on NY-86 for about 1.5 miles, then turn left onto Mirror Lake Drive. Follow Mirror Lake Drive, which will lead you directly to the lake. There are several parking areas along the road where you can stop and enjoy the view. Be aware that parking may be limited during peak tourist seasons.
Public Transportation
To reach Mirror Lake via public transportation, you can take a bus to Lake Placid. Check the Adirondack Trailways schedule for routes to Lake Placid. Once you arrive at the Lake Placid bus station, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Mirror Lake, which is approximately 1 mile away. Walking would take about 20 minutes; just head down Main Street (NY-86), then turn left onto Mirror Lake Drive.
Biking
