If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Lake Placid which is about 15 miles north of Gothics. Take NY-73 W from Lake Placid towards Keene. Follow NY-73 for approximately 12 miles until you reach the junction with NY-9N in Keene. Turn right onto NY-9N and continue south for about 3 miles. Look for signs indicating the 'Gothics Trailhead' which will be located on your right off of the roadway. There are limited parking spaces available at the trailhead, and a parking fee may apply, so be sure to bring cash.
