Walking
If you are in downtown Albany, you can easily walk to Corning Tower Observation Deck. Start at the Empire State Plaza, which is a central location. Head towards the Corning Tower located at 1415 Corning Tower. You will see the tall building of the Corning Tower prominently. Walk towards it, and once you reach the base of the tower, look for the entrance to the observation deck. The entrance is usually well-marked.
Public Transportation - Bus
If you are not close enough to walk, you can take the CDTA bus system. Locate the nearest bus stop and check for routes heading towards the Empire State Plaza. Routes like the #10, #11, or #12 often stop near the plaza. Board the bus and inform the driver that you are going to the Empire State Plaza. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the Corning Tower. The observation deck is located on one of the upper floors, and there will be additional signs directing you.
Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, Albany has a bike-share program. Locate a bike share station near you and check out a bike. Head towards the Empire State Plaza area. As you approach the plaza, look for bike racks available for parking your bike. Once parked, walk towards the Corning Tower, which is centrally located in the plaza.
