Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in downtown Albany, start at the New York State Capitol building at 24 Empire Plaza, Albany, NY 12223. Head northwest on State Street toward Washington Avenue. Turn left onto Washington Avenue and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Lark Street. Turn right onto Lark Street and walk north until you reach the intersection with Central Avenue. Turn left onto Central Avenue and continue until you reach the intersection with Ten Broeck Place. Turn right onto Ten Broeck Place, and you will find the Ten Broeck Mansion at 9 Ten Broeck Pl, Albany, NY 12210. The walk is approximately 1.5 miles and should take about 30-40 minutes.

• Bus

  From downtown Albany, locate the nearest bus stop for the CDTA bus service. Take the #10 or #11 bus heading towards Arbor Hill. The bus will take you through Albany, and you will need to get off at the stop closest to the intersection of Central Avenue and Ten Broeck Place. Once you get off the bus, walk a short distance down Ten Broeck Place to arrive at the Ten Broeck Mansion, located at 9 Ten Broeck Pl, Albany, NY 12210. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations in downtown Albany. Start at the bike station nearest to you and head northwest on State Street. Continue onto Washington Avenue and then take a right turn onto Lark Street. Follow Lark Street to Central Avenue and take a left. Continue east on Central Avenue, then turn right onto Ten Broeck Place. The Ten Broeck Mansion is located at 9 Ten Broeck Pl, Albany, NY 12210. The biking distance is about 1.5 miles and should take around 10-15 minutes.
