To reach Chippawa Battlefield from downtown Buffalo, start by heading to the NFTA Metro Bus terminal located at 181 Ellicott Street. Take the 40 bus route towards Niagara Falls. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at the Niagara Falls Transit Center. From the Transit Center, transfer to the WEGO bus service, specifically the Green Line, which will take you towards the Niagara River Parkway. Get off at the Chippawa stop, which is a short walk from the battlefield.

Begin your journey at the Buffalo Exchange Street Station. Board the Amtrak train heading towards Niagara Falls, NY. The train ride takes roughly 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Niagara Falls station, exit and walk to the nearby bus stop. Take the WEGO bus service (Green Line) towards the Niagara River Parkway. Get off at the Chippawa stop where Chippawa Battlefield is located, which is just a short walk from the bus stop.

Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops in Buffalo. Head towards the Niagara River bike path which connects Buffalo to Niagara Falls. The ride takes about 1-1.5 hours depending on your pace. Follow the path towards Niagara Falls, and when you reach the area of Chippawa, look for signs directing you to the Chippawa Battlefield located along Niagara River Parkway.
