From downtown Buffalo, head to the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA) bus terminal located at 181 Ellicott Street. Take the NFTA Route 40 bus towards the Niagara Falls. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Niagara Falls bus stop, walk towards the entrance of Niagara Falls State Park. Follow the signs leading you to Goat Island, which is a short walk from the park entrance.

Start at the Buffalo Amtrak station located at 75 Exchange Street. Take the Amtrak train towards Niagara Falls, which runs regularly. Once you arrive at the Niagara Falls station, exit the train and look for the local shuttle service that operates from the station to various attractions, including Goat Island. The shuttle will take you directly to the park entrance, from which you can walk to Goat Island.

Bicycle
If you enjoy cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the rental shops in downtown Buffalo. Head north on Main Street until you reach the Scajaquada Expressway (Route 198).
