Public Transit - Bus
From downtown Buffalo, walk to the nearest NFTA Metro Bus stop. You can take the #40 bus towards the 'Niagara Falls' route. Stay on the bus for approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at the stop at 'St. Catharines - Welland Canals Parkway'. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to the St. Catharines Museum & Welland Canals Centre located at 1932 Welland Canals Parkway. The museum is situated along the parkway, on the right side as you approach.

Train - Via Amtrak
Head to the Buffalo Depew Amtrak station. Purchase a ticket for the train to St. Catharines, Ontario. The train ride takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at the St. Catharines train station, walk to the nearby bus terminal and take the #2 bus towards 'Merritton'. Get off at the 'Welland Canals Parkway' stop. The museum will be about a 10-minute walk straight along the parkway.

Bicycle
If you’re feeling adventurous, consider renting a bicycle from a local rental service in Buffalo. Head towards the Niagara River Greenway Trail which will lead you north. Follow the trail until you reach the border of Canada. After crossing, continue on the Welland Canals Parkway. The St. Catharines Museum & Welland Canals Centre is located at 1932 Welland Canals Parkway, about a 30-minute bike ride from the border.

Walking (via the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge)
If you prefer to walk, make your way to the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge. It’s about a 30-minute walk from downtown Buffalo to the bridge. Once across the border, follow the signs to Welland Canals Parkway. The museum is approximately a 40-minute walk from the bridge along the parkway. Please ensure you have the necessary travel documents to cross into Canada.
