If you are already in Saugerties, you can walk to Esopus Bend Nature Preserve. From the center of Saugerties, head south on Partition St, then turn left onto NY-32 S. Continue for about a mile, then turn right onto Shady Ln. The preserve entrance will be on your right. This walk is approximately 1.5 miles and may take around 30 minutes.
