Car
If you're driving to Taughannock Falls, begin your journey on NY-89 N from your starting point in the Finger Lakes region. Follow NY-89 N for approximately 15 miles, enjoying the scenic views along Cayuga Lake. Turn left onto Taughannock Park Rd, and you'll find Taughannock Falls State Park at 2381 Taughannock Park Rd, Trumansburg, NY 14886. There is a parking fee of $8 for cars, payable at the entrance.
Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, take a bus from Ithaca, which is a central hub in the Finger Lakes. Use the TCAT (Tompkins Consolidated Area Transit) bus service to get to Trumansburg. You can take the Route 14 bus from the Ithaca Commons to Trumansburg. After arriving in Trumansburg, you can either walk (about 1.5 miles) to Taughannock Falls, or you can call a local taxi service to take you directly to 2381 Taughannock Park Rd. Ensure you check the TCAT schedule for the latest bus times and fares, typically around $2.50 for a single ride.
Biking
For the adventurous, biking to Taughannock Falls is an excellent option. From Ithaca, take the scenic route along the Cayuga Lake Scenic Byway (Route 89).
