Walking
From the heart of Downtown Ithaca, start at the Ithaca Commons (a pedestrian mall). Head east on E. State Street toward S. Aurora Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with University Avenue. Turn left onto University Avenue and continue walking for about 0.4 miles. As you approach the intersection with East Avenue, you will see Triphammer Falls on your right. The falls are located at the intersection of University Ave & East Ave, where you can enjoy the scenic view.
Public Bus
If you prefer taking public transportation, you can use the Tompkins Consolidated Area Transit (TCAT) bus service. From the Ithaca Commons, walk to the nearest TCAT bus stop on E. State Street and catch the bus route that goes toward the University. Check the TCAT schedule for the latest routes and times. Get off at the stop closest to the intersection of University Avenue and East Avenue. From there, it's a short walk to Triphammer Falls, which should be just a couple of minutes away on foot.
