If you are already in Fire Island, you'll need to take the ferry back to the mainland. Head to the nearest ferry terminal (e.g., Sayville Ferry Service) and purchase a ticket to Bay Shore. The ferry ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Bay Shore, you will exit the ferry and find your car, if parked at the terminal. From the ferry terminal, head west on Main Street, then turn left onto 5th Avenue which will lead you to Ocean Parkway. Continue on Ocean Parkway for about 7 miles until you reach Captree State Park, located at 3500 Ocean Parkway, Bay Shore, NY 11706. Parking is available at the park, and there may be an entrance fee, so be prepared with cash or a credit card.
