Car
If you are traveling by car, start by heading east from any location in Fire Island to reach the Fire Island Ferry terminal in Sayville. You will need to take the ferry to get back to the mainland at Sayville. The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Sayville, drive east on Montauk Highway (NY-27) for approximately 20 miles until you reach Mastic Beach. Turn left onto Park Drive, and the William Floyd Estate will be on your right at 245 Park Dr, Mastic Beach, NY 11951. Please note that parking may incur a fee.
Public Transportation
To reach the William Floyd Estate via public transportation, take the Fire Island ferry back to Sayville. From there, you can catch a Suffolk County Transit bus (S40 or S41) heading east towards Patchogue. Get off the bus at the stop nearest to Mastic Beach (check the schedule for the exact stop). From the bus stop, it is about a 10-minute walk to the William Floyd Estate located at 245 Park Dr, Mastic Beach, NY 11951. Ensure to check the bus schedule in advance as services may vary.
