Getting There

  • Walking

    Start from the center of Hudson at Warren Street, which is the main street. Head south on Warren Street towards the river. Once you reach the waterfront, turn right onto the Riverwalk. Continue walking along the Riverwalk until you reach the end. This will take you to the Hudson River. From there, you will need to find the nearest bus stop for the Ulster County Area Transit (UCAT) bus service. Look for the bus stop at the corner of Front St and Warren St. Catch the UCAT bus heading towards Saugerties. The journey takes about 30 minutes.

  • Bus

    After getting off the UCAT bus in Saugerties, look for the nearest bus stop on Route 212. You will need to transfer to another bus that goes towards Kingston. Board the bus and ask the driver to let you know when to get off for Dominican Ln. Once you reach Dominican Ln, walk south for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Falling Waters Preserve entrance.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride along the Hudson River Path. From Hudson, head towards the Riverwalk and continue along the pathway. The ride will be scenic, and you will eventually reach Route 9W. Follow Route 9W North towards Saugerties. After approximately 5 miles, you can take a right onto Dominican Ln. Continue for about 1 mile until you reach the Falling Waters Preserve entrance.
