Bus
From Hudson, walk to the Hudson Transit Station located at 75 North 2nd Street. Take the Trailways bus heading towards Kingston or Saugerties. Make sure to check the schedule in advance, as bus frequencies may vary. Get off at the Saugerties stop, which is typically around 30-40 minutes from Hudson. From the bus stop in Saugerties, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles to reach Opus 40. Head south on Main Street, then take a left onto George Sickle Road, which will lead you directly to Opus 40 located at 356 George Sickle Rd.
Bicycle
For a more adventurous route, consider renting a bicycle in Hudson. Start by heading to the Hudson River Greenway, which connects to riding paths. Follow the bike paths towards Saugerties. The ride is approximately 8 miles and should take about 45 minutes to an hour, depending on your pace. Once you reach Saugerties, navigate to George Sickle Road, and follow it towards Opus 40 at 356 George Sickle Rd.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, you can take a longer scenic route. Start from the center of Hudson and walk towards the Hudson River, then follow the river south. This path will take you through some beautiful landscapes and small parks. After about 4 miles, you will reach the town of Saugerties. From there, ask locals for directions to George Sickle Road, as it is not too far from the main streets. The total walking distance is about 7 miles and will take roughly 2-2.5 hours.
