Getting There

• Walking

  Start your journey at the Hudson Amtrak Station located at 1 Hudson Avenue. Exit the station and head east on Hudson Avenue towards the intersection with Warren Street. Turn left onto Warren Street and walk north until you reach 3rd Street. Turn right onto 3rd Street and continue walking until you reach the waterfront. You will see the Hudson River in front of you. Follow the pathway along the river, and you will eventually reach the Rip Van Winkle Bridge. The bridge is situated further down the waterfront, offering beautiful views of the river and surrounding area.

• Biking

  If you have access to a bike, start at the Hudson Amtrak Station at 1 Hudson Avenue. From there, head east on Hudson Avenue, then turn left on Warren Street. Continue north on Warren Street until you reach 3rd Street. Take a right on 3rd Street and follow it to the waterfront. Once at the river, follow the bike path along the Hudson River. This route will take you directly to the Rip Van Winkle Bridge, where you can enjoy scenic views and a pleasant ride.

• Public Transit

  From Hudson, you can take a bus to reach the area near the Rip Van Winkle Bridge. Head to the nearest bus stop on Warren Street and look for a bus heading towards Catskill or other destinations across the river. Ask the driver to inform you when you reach the stop closest to the Rip Van Winkle Bridge. After disembarking, follow the signs towards the river, and you will find yourself at the bridge, where you can enjoy the picturesque surroundings.
