From Hunter Mountain, get onto NY-23A E from Main St. Follow NY-23A E for about 5 miles. Merge onto NY-23 E and continue for about 16 miles. Take the exit towards Howes Cave from NY-88 N. Continue on Howes Cave Rd, then turn left onto Discovery Dr. The Howe Caverns entrance will be on your left at 255 Discovery Dr, Howes Cave, NY 12092.

From Hunter Mountain, take a bus to the nearest major transport hub, which is in Tannersville. From Tannersville, you can catch a bus to Cobleskill. Upon arriving in Cobleskill, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to Howe Caverns. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance as public transportation can be limited.
