Car
From Hunter Mountain, head southeast on NY-23A toward Tannersville. Continue to follow NY-23A for about 10 miles until you reach the intersection with NY-32. Turn left onto NY-32 and drive for about 3 miles until you see the signs for Ashland. Turn right onto County Route 23. Follow this road for approximately 2 miles, and you will see the entry point to Huntersfield Mountain on your left. There is no parking fee, but be sure to park in designated areas.

From Hunter Mountain, take the Hunter Mountain Shuttle or a local taxi service to the nearest bus station in Tannersville. From Tannersville, you can take the Catskill Connector bus service that operates to Ashland. Once in Ashland, you can either walk or take a local taxi to reach the trailhead of Huntersfield Mountain, which is about 2 miles from the bus drop-off point. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance as it may vary.
