Starting from the center of Lake Placid, head south on Main Street toward the intersection with NY-86. Continue walking straight until you reach the junction of Main Street and NY-86. At this junction, you will want to turn left onto NY-86. Continue walking along NY-86 for about 1.5 miles until you reach the trailhead for Rocky Falls. The trailhead will be located on your right, marked by a sign. From the trailhead, follow the marked footpath for approximately 0.3 miles until you reach Rocky Falls.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the center of Lake Placid and head south on Main Street. Follow Main Street until you reach the intersection with NY-86. Turn left onto NY-86, and continue biking for about 1.5 miles. Look for the trailhead for Rocky Falls on your right. Once you arrive at the trailhead, lock your bike securely, and hike the remaining 0.3 miles on the marked trail to reach Rocky Falls.
