From any location in the Leatherstocking Region, head towards I-90 E (New York State Thruway). If coming from Cooperstown, take NY-28 N to I-90 E. If coming from Oneonta, take NY-23 W to I-88 E, then merge onto I-90 E. Continue on I-90 E for about 90 miles. Take exit 34A for I-481 N toward Syracuse. After about 7 miles, take exit 3 for NY-5 E/NY-92 E toward Fayetteville. Continue on NY-5 E for about 4 miles. Turn left onto Green Lakes Rd. Continue on Green Lakes Rd for about 1 mile until you reach Green Lakes State Park at 7900 Green Lakes Rd, Fayetteville, NY 13066.
