From the main entrance of Letchworth State Park, head south on Park Road. Continue for approximately 5 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 63. Turn right onto Route 63 and continue driving for about 8 miles. You'll pass through the town of Mount Morris. Keep an eye out for signs indicating Silver Lake State Park. After approximately 8 miles, turn left onto W Lake Rd (County Road 19). Silver Lake State Park will be located at 4229 W Lake Rd, Castile, NY 14550, which is about 2 miles down this road. Total driving time is approximately 25-30 minutes, depending on traffic.

To reach Silver Lake State Park via public transportation from Letchworth State Park, you will first need to take a bus from the nearest bus stop in the town of Castile. The closest bus stop is located about 5 miles from the park entrance. You can take a taxi or arrange for a ride-share service to get to Castile. Once you arrive at the Castile bus station, look for the bus route that heads toward Mount Morris. After reaching Mount Morris, you will need to transfer to a bus heading towards the Silver Lake area. Please check the local bus schedules ahead of time for exact timings and possible transfers. Be prepared for some waiting time; overall travel can take 1 to 2 hours depending on connections.
