    From anywhere in Long Island, board the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) at your nearest station. If you are in New York City, take the LIRR from Penn Station to the Smithtown station on the Port Jefferson Branch. Upon arrival at the Smithtown station, exit the platform and head southwest on E Main St toward N Country Rd. After approximately 0.5 miles, turn right onto W Jericho Turnpike (NY-25). Caleb Smith State Park Reserve will be on your left after about 1.5 miles.
